To oil a Uni-filter air filter when you want to catch the maximum amount of dust, just follow the steps we recommend. 1) buy foam oil for air filters and get a small plate or tray 2) remove your air filter from dirt bike or pit bike or use brand new air filter. 3) inspect the filter for defect if it is new and inspect the filter removed from bike to ensure it is clean and dry. 4) this step you are going to apply the oil to the Uni-Filter air filter. Pouring a small amount of foam oil on to a small sized plate is the best way to apply the oil. 5) Take the air filter and roll the filter in the oil on the plate. Make sure the filter is evenly coated with the oil. 6) pick the filter up and let the excess oil drip back on to the plate before you attach it on to the dirt bike or pit bike.

Maintenance like this is very important for the rider to do. If you practice small easy chores to help keep your dirt bike or pit bike clean this will save you money in the long run. Cleaning or oiling your air filter is a small inexpensive task to perform.
